Always open to collaborations, in 2019, Megablast started yet another new project, this time with Eribertho Cruz originally from Cuba.

 

Eribertho is a highly experienced vocalist and percussionist who graduated from The School of Art in Pinar del Río (Cuba). He began his career as a member of a group that is currently one of the references of Cuban music, called “Valle Son”. In the late 90’s, he moved to France, where he formed his band “Erisalsa”, participating in countless festivals such as the prestigious “Bayamo Cuban Festival”. In 2005, Eribertho moved to Ibiza, where his considerable talent and quality secured him a multi-year residency in Pacha, collaborating with the famous Roger Sanchez.

 

Megablast and Eribertho recorded the hit EP entitled “Vamos” whose title track has been frequently played at iconic parties by the heavyweight headliners of our scene, for example Solomun, Luciano, Bedouin, Seth Troxler, Dixon, Adam Port and Butch. A highly anticipated follow up to this epic track is due for release later in 2022, along with several new high profile original productions, collaborations and remixes—fresh, cutting-edge tunes from the Megablast music factory!
